How tall is it, and what fits inside?
11 inches (28 cm) tall with a roughly 1.4-inch (3.5 cm) opening. That neck is sized for a small bundle rather than a full florist bouquet — three to five stems, a branch of eucalyptus, or dried pampas all sit well. It is heavy enough at the base that a tall branch will not tip it.
Can I put water and fresh flowers in it?
Yes. The body is vitrified at 1300°C, so it is non-porous — water will not seep through and flower stems will not stain the interior. Rinse it out between arrangements and it stays white for decades.
Is the matte finish hard to keep clean?
No. It is dishwasher-safe on a normal cycle. For the unglazed base, a damp cloth is enough. Avoid abrasive scouring pads — they will polish shine into the matte surface over time. Full details in our care guide.
Is it lead-free and food-safe?
Lead-free and cadmium-free, third-party lab tested. The white body carries no colourant at all, and the cobalt used on hand-painted pieces sits under the glaze, sealed by the 1300°C firing.
